AFI (Active Feedback Intercept) – Most people that are using hearing aids will tell you that the biggest problem that they have is whistling. This is basically called feedback and the Starkey Zon series takes care of that by including this very interesting feature. It is actually one of the best feedback cancellation systems on the market at the moment. You can be sure that irritating feedback sounds are going to be eliminated while using the aid.

DSD (Directional Speech Detector) – This is a feature that takes care of another really common problem that most hearing aids have. When you use them you can basically hear all the speech that is in front of you but only when the environment is quiet. When noise surrounds you problems appear. Thanks to DSD this is no longer a problem as it is much easier to understand speech even when the listening conditions are not that great.

Automatic Telephone Response – This feature will tackle another common problem of regular hearing aids. It helps the user in eliminating the feedback that appears when talking on the phone by simply automatically adjusting all settings so that communication is optimal via telephone.

Acoustic Signature – This is a new and unique environmental management type that is perfect for people that suffer from hearing lose. The Starkey Zon hearing aid will basically analyze the sound environment and the settings will automatically be changed based on what goes on around the wearer.
